Warranty and Returns

We endeavor to ensure all of our customers are thrilled with their purchases. The vast majority of our customers are happy, but sadly, we do encounter occasional problems. When we do will always do our best to make sure that you are happy. Nothing matters more to us.

7 Day Unconditional Refund Guarantee for Unopened & Unused Items

If for whatever reason you do not want your item within 7 days of receiving it, you may also contact us for a return and refund. Items MUST be returned in their original packaging, unused and unopened in order to qualify for a product refund.

Our team will authorise the return and you will receive a confirmation email.

If you requested an exchange:
• The courier is directed to you to collect the returning item
(all details and Waybill is sent to your email for you to print)
• The delivery courier and the collection courier will not be the same
• A new order is created and sent to you by email
• This new order will be dispatched and tracked the normal way

If you requested an refund:
• As soon as the goods are received by us,
you will receive an email authorising the refund.
• Reply to the email with your bank details
• Refund to your credit card: max. 10 working days
• Refund to your bank account: max. 7 working days


One Year Repair Warranty

Unless otherwise noted on the product page, the default product warranty period is one year starting from the date you receive the goods, during which you are eligible for free repair. Any free repair needs to be confirmed with the Killerdeals. All VHF radio repairs will be done by Bruce Dunn of Mareltech only (contact 079 099 0496 or email bdunn@mareltech.co.za). If your radio is within the warranty period you will have to produce your Killerdeals Invoice to qualify for repairs at Mareltech. If the buyer has damaged/misused the item(s), it will not be eligible for free repair, however customers can visit Bruce Dunn at their own cost and pay a fee for the repair.

Conditions under which we will not accept a return

We will not accept a return of an item in the following circumstances:

  • Faults that arise from normal wear and tear of the product
  • Damage that arises from negligent use of the item, or from abuse of the item
  • Damage arising from not taking appropriate care of the item
  • Damage arising from electrical surges
  • Damage arising from Sea Air corrosion
  • Damage arising from alterations made to the product
  • Where the specifications of the product have been made clear in its description and are fit for this intended purpose, but do no specifically suit you

Preparing your product(s) for return

To allow us to process your return as quickly as possible, we require the following from you:

  • That your products are packaged safely and securely so they are protected during transit
  • Clearly mark your return with the returns number you have been given.

Refund Processing Time

Refunds are normally processed within 7 working days or receiving the returned items and inspecting them. Assuming everything is in order, then the refund will be processed as quickly as possible.

For exchanges, the processing time for the exchanged item will be between 3-6 business days, upon receiving your item back, and depending on stock availability.

For refunds, the processing time for us to proceed with the refund will be between 3-6 business days upon receiving your returned item. After this the refund time will depend on the payment method. Please see below for details:

-Wallet refunds will take up to 24 hours to process and appear in your Killerdeals account.

-Credit card refunds will take between 7-14 business days to appear in your account. This delay depends entirely on your credit card company and any intermediaries.

For repairs, it will take between 7-14 business days depending on the item and the manufacturers stock of spare parts.

Killerdeals’s dedicated Customer Service agents will keep you updated on the repairs process via the ticket system.

Sizing issues

In the apparel business, we may note slight size differences between brands and manufacturers. It is important you check the size chart and size conversion chart on the product before ordering.

If we have shipped you the wrong size by mistake, we will either refund you in full or send you an item with an alternative size (if applicable).

If you chose the wrong size, Killerdeals will offer an exchange or refund for customers, but please note that shipping costs to return the items are at the customer’s expense.
